The mech grabs two nearby galaxies in the Anti-Spiral space, crushes them together, and compresses their matter and energy into a ball. It then unleashes the resulting pressure, combined with the Anti-Spiral's own energy, as an enormous blast of raw energy. As the name implies, it is a wave attack that consists of an endless series of Big Bang explosions. As the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is shielded from this by Lazengann, new galaxies can be seen being born as a result of this energy being unleashed.
The Anti-Spiral states that the Infinity Big Bang Storm has the power to create and destroy entire universes. The name implies that it is a wave attack consisting of an endless series of Big Bang explosions.
In Gurren Lagann The Movie: The Lights in the Sky are Stars, absorbing the Infinity Big Bang Storm allows the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann to transform into the Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, which has 58% the size of a single universe. The Anti-Spiral space is thousands of times larger, while each galaxy within it is nearly as large as the Super Tengen Toppa, thus it has a multiversal size equivalent to thousands of universes. Since the Super Tengen Toppa has enough power to destroy thousands of universes, this would indicate the Infinity Big Bang Storm is similarly powerful.
- ↑ The galaxy that the Super Tengen Toppa stands on has a diameter roughly half that of the Super Tengen Toppa's height. The galaxy is thus billions of light years in diameter, with an area that is millions of times larger than that of the universe's largest galaxy (which has a diameter of 6 million light years) and with roughly 1/5 the diameter of the universe.
